Getting here
Directions to Thornbury House
From Waverley Station
A 13-minute walk: up to Princes Street, along St Andrew Square, then downhill through the New Town to Thornbury Place. A taxi takes about five minutes.
From Edinburgh Airport
Take the tram to St Andrew Square (around 35 minutes), then it's a 10-minute walk. A taxi takes 25 to 35 minutes depending on traffic.
By car
The New Town is a controlled parking zone. We can reserve a space for you in a nearby car park from £22 a day; just ask when you book.

Flexible rates can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. Advance rates are non-refundable and around 15% cheaper. During the August Festival, cancellations need 14 days' notice.
Of course. Leave your bags with reception at any time on your arrival or departure day, free of charge.
